Missed Bin Collections
Bin collection dates now available online
Bin collection dates and downloadable calendars for the new bin service which started on 2 April 2013 are now available from our Find my Nearest system.
Just enter your postcode into Find my Nearest on the right hand side of the page and select your address from the list of available properties.
Your collection day will be shown under the Recycling and refuse service heading on the page, together with a link to view and print your calendar. Brown bin collection days will only be shown for those customers who have paid for the additional service.
If your bin is not emptied on your scheduled collection day please check our current service issues page to see if there are any particular issues affecting collections.
If there are no issues affecting your collections we may not have been able to empty your bin if:
- It was not at the collection point by 7 am.
- It contained the wrong materials (if this is the case you should see an advisory note attached to your bin telling you what the problems is). If you need further help please call 01553 776676.
- Side or excess waste has not been put out correctly.
If the reasons above do not apply to your situation we may have missed your bin by mistake. Please report this to us before 12 noon on the next working day after collection was due to take place so we can arrange for our crews to return to collect your bin. Please leave your bin at the collection point.
To report that your bin has not been emptied use the missed bin eForm or call the rubbish and recycling helpline on 01553 776676.
Please note that if you do not contact us before 12 noon on the next working day after collection was due to take place we will not be able to return to your property until your next scheduled collection date.
