Welcome to the Your Council section of our website.

 

62 councillors are elected to represent the people of West Norfolk. The council is currently controlled by the Conservative Party and Cllr Nick Daubney is the Leader of the Council.

 

There are currently 42 Conservative Councillors, 12 Labour Councillors, 2 Liberal Democrat Councillors, 4 Independent / Green Councillors, 1 Independent and 1 vacancy.

 

The Cabinet is made up of the Leader, Deputy Leader and six other portfolio holders. Each portfolio holder has specific responsibilities over an area of the Council's activities such as Environment, Regeneration, Community and Health and Wellbeing.

 

Cllr Elizabeth Watson is the current Mayor of King's Lynn and West Norfolk and Cllr Barry Ayres is the Deputy Mayor.

 

Ray Harding is the Council's Chief Executive and leads the Management Team who are responsible for delivering services to West Norfolk.
