Celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee (2-5 June) in west Norfolk. The packed programme includes special exhibitions, a fun family trail and tea party, beacon lighting, firework display, village events and much more. For more information see: www.west-norfolk.gov.uk/diamondjubilee.


There will also be a chance to see the 1948 Olympic torch as it tours the area from 2-5 June. The 170-mile tour, which begins and ends at Lynnsport Sports and Leisure Park, will pass through 80 villages in the area. Incinerator update

 

The council has lodged with the High Court an application for permission to judicially review the decision by Secretary of State Caroline Spelman to award Waste Infrastructure Credits for a proposed incinerator in King's Lynn. Read more.
