The council is made up of 62 Councillors who represent the 42 Wards into which the Borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk is divided. Each Ward elects its Councillor(s) once every four years.
When taking office Borough Councillors have to agree to abide by the Councillors Code of Conduct.
Once every four years residents of the Borough elect 14 Councillors to Norfolk County Council to represent the interests of the residents of the borough.
Following the transfer of the Council's Housing Stock to Freebridge Community Housing a protocol has been produced for Borough Councillors for any housing enquiries. It includes a form for the tenant to sign to enable Freebridge Community Housing to disclose information to your Borough Councillor.
