Financial Assistance Grants Scheme
The Borough Council's Financial Assistance Scheme is administered by Norfolk Community Foundation.
Grants are available for community and voluntary groups and registered charities. Town/parish councils may also apply for non-statutory activities.
A wide range of activities can be funded and projects need to meet at least one of the following outcomes:
- Improved understanding of different people and cultures in our local community.
- Increased involvement from people who face barriers to participation in community life.
- Greater use of community buildings or outdoor community spaces particularly in rural areas.
- Healthier and safer lifestyles for the whole community.
- Increased participation in arts and cultural activities which are accessible to the whole community.
Deadlines are as follows:
Revenue grants – one annual deadline on 1 April
Capital grants – three annual deadlines: 1 April, 23 July, and 17 December
