At the heart of the Oasis Sports & Leisure Centre is an heated, indoor 25 metre leisure pool with an accompanying toddler pool.  Our wet facilities are completed by a 33 metre aqua-slide with its own aqua-catch and a warm whirlpool spa.

Please note the free swimming initiative ceased on the 31 July 2010.  As such,  we no longer offer 14 day memberships to non borough residents, enabling them to benefit from the scheme.

Aqua-slide

The twists and turns of our 33 metre-long aqua slide offers hours of fun for the young at heart. The slide descends into a specially designed shallow water area for the complete enjoyment of all swimmers, regardless of age or swimming ability.

Whirlpool spa

Our whirlpool spa area is the perfect haven for exhausted mums and dads to lie back and unwind as the bubbling water and massaging jets soothe away aches and pains. 

Pool programme

Our leisure pool programme has been designed to provide the community with the widest possible choice of leisure activities. These activities cater for all age groups and swimming abilities and includes:

• Family fun sessions

Pool admission policy

• All children under the age of eight years old must be closely supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 16 years.
• Children aged four to eight years old must be accompanied on a ratio of two children to one adult.

Children under four years old

• All children under the age of four years old must be accompanied on a ratio of one adult to every one child unless the children are wearing BS, EN or Kite Marked arm bands or buoyancy jackets when two children may be accompanied by only one adult.
