Leisure Card - Concession
Those who reside outside of our area may have a Non-Borough Resident Leisure Card, attracting standard Leisure Card benefits. Access to the Concession level of charges is not available to non-borough residents.
Who Can Have A Concessionary Leisure Card?
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Over 60's*
- Incapacity Benefit
- Income Support Claimant
- Housing Benefit Claimant
- Registered Disabled
- Sixth Form Student
- NHS Tax Exemption Certificate**
- Student (Over 16yrs and under 22yrs in full time education)
- Student (22yrs & Over, if residing with and dependant on parents)***
* National Concessionary Bus Pass is acceptable as proof
** Card issued by NHS must be shown as proof .
*** Entitlement will be checked against the electoral roll.
You can apply by either visiting one of the Borough Council leisure facilities or by requesting an application form and sending it in by post. If you choose to visit one of our facilities please remember to take along one passport size photograph.
All applications must be accompanied by suitable and current proof of your entitlement to the benefit.
Your benefits will start when we have processed your card, and will run for 1 year from that date, not the date you make your application.
