Let’s Get Active Summer School of
Sports kicks into action this summer holiday. With a huge
range of activities on offer from 50p per session, there’s
never been a better time for the children to get active!
Top cyclists will line the streets of King’s Lynn on Thursday, 16 September as they begin the 117-mile eastern leg of the Tour of Britain. Starting in King’s Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place and ending at South Beach parade in Great Yarmouth, the route will take in some of Norfolk’s most iconic areas.

The Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk has joined forces with the Business School at the University of East Anglia to bring a careers coaching workshop to King’s Lynn.
£500,000 of European funding has been secured to restore the Gaywood River Valley and unlock its potential as a natural amenity for local communities in and around King’s Lynn.
The first one hundred residents who apply for the Borough Council’s brown bin service after 26 July will receive a free bag of compost with their new brown bin.
